Wild goat

That is how I am called at times, because of my wild jumps. I am also called Speedy Gonzales or Taz for the speed I am capable of, making impossible even for great cameras to focus on me :))))

Almost got a car ride in a police car :D

When I go out I usually hurry up to the park, but this time it was different. I was sniffing almost all car tires. Guess you all know why...Oh well, suddenly some police officers came towards us and told mom while laughing "we hope he won't "baptize" our car" haha. Mom explained I was a female, and they petted me, one of the gentlemen opened the car door (front hehe) and invited me in! I nearly jumped in and mom warned them it would be very hard to get rid of me without a car ride, and they smiled and told her "no problem, she is such a cutie she deserves a car ride"

Of course I regret missing a great opportunity to travel....and be loved..and be petted more :D

Rest in peace sweet Elsa :((((((((

Today we found out the most devastating news: dear friends of ours lost their sweet, perfect 1 year old Golden girl, Elsa. Andreea, Razvan, the owners are devastated by the loss. One moment she was playing happily, the next one sweet Elsa was breathless and without pulse. Andreea tried to resuscitate her and called Razvan then...

My heart also goes to Ioana, the breeder, who is grieving this heavy loss, she loves Elsa immensely.




Elsa is in the crate, left. In the right, sitting down outside the crate is her dam, Sara. And standing up -Emma.

Lamb ribs

It's not the first time I have been fed meaty lamb ribs, but the last two times I was a bit reluctant to eat. Now I refuse completely, I just decided to HATE them. The shock!

My mom and dad thought I was under the weather but they couldn't be more wrong! I begged their food so mom decided to feed me something else instead - tuna YUMMYYYYYYYY I love fish, especially TUNA(daddy bought it for me) , and a bit of their soup (the soup was not part of the plan to feed me, but my food is in the freezer so it would take some time till I can eat!) Later I will have some more food.

The surprise is that I refused lamb ribs though. I HAVE NEVER REFUSED anything like this before! Besides I mostly never refuse food, unless I am stuffed. I eat fruits and veggies, yogurt (picky with yogurt, I prefer certain brands) and kefir...I even love broccoli - though mom and dad HATE it hehe.

So my short list of hates includes meaty lamb ribs now. And I think that's pretty much it when it comes to food.

HD A ED 0 eyes clear

Woohoo, long trip but all worth it! Emma has perfect hips and elbows, also healthy eyes! The tests were performed by the best specialists in the country :)

A huge thank you to Maghiari family, who entrusted us with such a fantastic bitch, who is not only with perfect temperament, superb conformation, but she is also in perfect health. We are forever grateful!

O calatorie lunga, dar care a meritat din plin! Emma are solduri si coate perfecte, de asemenea si ochii! Testele au fost facute de cei mai buni experti din tara.

Aceste teste sunt foarte importante si multumim din suflet familiei Maghiari pentru Emma, care nu numai ca este un caine cu temperament perfect, conformatie superba, dar este si perfect sanatoasa!

Grooming

I HATE IT. Big time when it comes to nails...But I get treat for every single one so I guess it's a pretty good deal for me.

As for the rest of grooming, I love hugging mom. And I also kiss her big time, so in the end it is a very rewarding activity for both of us. For me even more, because I get treats too :)))))

Mom is a grooming freak, each time someone mentions grooming she MUST do something to me. That's how addicted to it she is. She was in heaven when she was asked to groom some Goldens for shows.

Yummyyyyyyyy. I so appreciate this, especially that mom HATES the smell of fish and would never consider cooking this for them! I ate it all!

2 days visiting grandparents

Wooohoooooooooooooo soooooooooooooooo incredibly spoiled! Mom was with me this time (separation anxiety, her, not me hehe) And got to witness how incredibly spoiled I am by people. Not just family, but also neighbors. They all stop to give me some love, and today the cutest girl insisted to see me :) Mom had no idea we had fun before, so she was thrilled to discover I have so many fans at my grandparent's place.

What was funny to them was when mom was on the phone with dad and she put him on speakers :)))) I started looking at the cell and was about to start talking to dad :)))) They thought it was so funny :)))

Grandma cooked yummy food for us, too, and I got some at home as well YUMMYYYYYY

Funny conversation :)))

Today dad was trying to eat. As usual, I gave it a shot with my begging skills (PhD in that!) and planted my head on dad's lap. Then an "argument" followed (which made mom burst into laughter) Dad was telling me in a very sweet voice: "Emma, please, I am begging you, let me eat, you have already eaten once today...Please Emma" ROFL

Mom calls my stomach bottomless bag soooooooo what if I ate?

I usually sing or try to talk back(making funny noises) but now it was not the case.

I have various approaches to begging and people always love this :))))

ART. 18

(1) Constituie contravenţii următoarele fapte:

1.

neluarea măsurilor de prevenire a atacului canin de către proprietarul sau deţinătorul temporar al câinelui, dacă fapta s-a soldat cu rănirea sau cu uciderea unui animal domestic;

ART. 11

(1) Neluarea măsurilor de prevenire a atacului canin de către proprietarul câinelui sau de deţinătorul temporar al acestuia asupra unei persoane constituie infracţiune şi se pedepseşte cu închisoare de la 6 luni la 5 ani.

(2) Acţiunea penală se pune în mişcare la plângerea prealabilă a persoanei vătămate.



ART. 12

(1) Fapta persoanei de a determina în orice mod atacul câinelui, aparţinând oricărei rase, asupra unei persoane, dacă a avut ca urmare o vătămare, constituie infracţiune şi se pedepseşte conform art. 181 - 183 din Codul penal.

(2) Dacă fapta prevăzută la alin. (1) a avut ca urmare moartea victimei, pedeapsa este închisoarea de la 10 la 20 de ani.



ART. 15

(1) În cazul infracţiunilor prevăzute la art. 11 şi 12 câinii se confiscă de către poliţie, cu sprijinul personalului instruit în acest sens, angajat al consiliilor locale, în termen de cel mult două zile de la rămânerea definitivă a hotărârii de condamnare.


E bine de stiut, cei care au fost atentionati cu privire la cainii lor agresivi si totusi nu iau masuri de control pot fi sanctionati.

Very strange weather

After a week of extremely heavy rain (and floods), cold weather, too, which is highly unusual for this time of the year, we are now hit by a heat wave. So my methods of cooling down are apart from air conditioning, also water. And by that I do not mean just my cold water bowl, refreshed very often, but also the tub. Yep, the tub with some cold water in it. As soon as I hear water there I try to jump in! Plus toys that float, and I have a party! Today after I was lifted in the tub, played some, digging water and retrieving toys (sorry, can't help it!) mom got me out, but did not let the water out. She knew I would love to go inside again. Yep, as soon as she left the bathroom she heard water splashes and she hurried back in only to catch me trying to get inside. She scolded me some for this particular stunt because she is afraid I might hurt myself in the process. So she always has to lift me up safely...Not easy to do though haha.

And I love digging water!

Aside from the tub I also enjoy a pretty big basin filled with water, which is placed in the bathroom for me to dig as much as I please. :)

To all stray lovers:

To all stray lovers: you do NOT respond to the law when these dogs do damage, attack humans and even kill them. So either take them in the house or let city pound do its duty! DOGS DO NOT BELONG IN THE STREETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are dangerous, they attack everyone going through their territory, they have formed large PACKS and all thanks to the so called animals lovers who do not want a dog in their house because "it is dirty, it makes mess, blah blah" A dog is dirty if you don't wash the dog, a dog makes mess if you don't train him/her or don't clean your house. This really proves how irresponsible you are!
You are also the ones who do not wish stray dogs to be neutered/spayed. IDIOTS


Strays have KILLED humans and yet you insist them roam the streets. YOU MAKE ME SICK SICK SICK.

Happy Birthday sweet Princess Emma!

She had a present she is nuts about, a birthday cake she loved so much, she got to play football with kids, played with Cody....

We're incredibly happy and proud!

Came home with a cup, too!!!!!!!!

It all started because our friend, Ioana, insisted that we should go to the club show. Retriever Club Show. And since it is such a huge distance, it was not exactly something we wanted. But we went.

Day 1, Medias CAC show, judge Mrs Anca Giura CAC
We were late at show, because we did not wake up on due time and mom had to groom me! Ooops. But Goldens were judged towards the end of the show, so no problem. And we were almost late for Best Bitch :D

Day 2, Club Show, judge Mrs Eileen Caisley, Standfast Kennel, Exc 3 with World Ch YALTA IZ SOKOLINOGO GNEZDA as Exc 1 and CAC.

Selection show - recommended for breeding (it is a special show, only organized by the Club, in which dogs are assessed for this). This is the maximum qualification possible.

Trip to the bank

Now don't get me wrong, I get everywhere where I can go, but many places are not dog-friendly.
So it was a super trip to the bank, I enjoyed all the attention I could get, I also felt so well I wanted to take a nap while mom was paying hehe.

I impressed everyone in the bank big time! They praised me for how well behaved I was, how obedient, taking commands right away. I also had to control myself in that paper paradise! I loooooooove paper and mom told me I was not allowed to slobber on bank documents hehe.

The only problem was the 3 packs of dogs we had to avoid. One did not bother with us, but two almost attacked! I so wish people understand dogs do not belong in the street.

Hoping for better weather

We've had enough of blizzards, high winds, snow ...mountains of snow. As funny as it seemed for a month or so, my parents have had enough of cold weather!

Luckily this weekend we had sunny days, but it was still cold. Now where is spring????


PS I got to swim in snow! It was awesome!
